About
When I was 10-years-old my grandfather loaned me his twin-lens reflex camera and from that moment on I have loved photography. It has grown from a passionate hobby to a skill I use to explore themes and issues, to tell stories that I feel are important and inspire me. My goal is to evoke, to make use think about our culture, society, human nature and in particular women’s place in it.
My work focuses on themes of family, traditions, relationships and there connection to gender and the environment.
Based in Montreal, I have studied photography at Concordia University, the Segal Centre for the Performing Arts (formerly the Saidye Bronfman Centre for the Arts) and Vanier College. I have also worked as a darkroom manager at John Abbott College.
